LSA001 Engineering camera announcement

Introducing the new compact engineering camera from Loaf-Space - the LSA001. Featuring a 5 megapixel sensor and automatic exposure adjustment, the LSA001 delivers excellent image quality. Its 120 degree field of view ensures that a single camera can capture a wide scene in a single shot.

The LSA001 includes onboard non volatile storage so photos can be downloaded when the satellite schedule permits. Its trigger system allows photos to be captured at a periodic interval, or automatically when the camera is powered on. The LSA001 even includes video capability at a reduced resolution. Importantly the camera will power down the image sensor when not in use, keeping the power consumption to a minimum.

Communication with other subsystems can use either RS422 or 3.3V UART. Software tools, source code and documentation are provided with the system to make integration simple.
